What resolution do you scan photos and slides at?

For photos and prints, 600 dpi is my standard, sharp enough to reprint a little larger than the original and the right choice for most family collections. If you mostly want them on screens, I can scan at 300 to save a little. For big enlargements or close zooming, I offer 1200. Slides and negatives go on a dedicated film scanner at even higher detail, since the originals are so small. If you have a specific reprint size in mind, tell me and I will scan to match.
